Need advice about losing a tan

I was hoping someone could offer some advice here. Several tanners feel they are losing their tans. I asked them if they are using a good tanning lotion....answer is Yes. Asked if they are using a Tan Extender.... Answer yes. Could they be using something outside the salon such as their soap that might be affecting their color. I watched these people build a nice tan then its like it disappeared in the last week.
Any input....might add it's not the beds.

How often are these gals tanning? What is their skin type and what time are they up to? Have you suggested exfoliating?

Have they slacked off on their taning sessions......seems like all things we make resolutions to do tend to fade away in time.

One of the girls tans every other day on a regular basis for 20 minute sessions, I asked her yesterday if she is using anything different at home, she mentioned using lever 2000 bar of soap. She had great color (base tan)and it seems to lighten up in the last week. I have her using dark sexy tan with no results. now there is a couple that is using spike butter and I noticed their color fading to. Their skin type is a skin type II, all of them had good color before trying these lotions,like I said it's like the tan was there and now its gone. Weird but I have to be able to answer this and I honestly don't know what to tell them.

Bar soap is not the best thing for your skin. Maybe they should try a ph balanced shower gel such as Total Immersion.

Total Submersion is the shower gel, Total Immersion is the tan extending moisturizer

I use the Lever 2000 shower gel, and my tan is fine. You might want to tell her if she likes that soap to switch from the the bar to the shower gel.

Maybe they are exfoliating or need to. Everyone needs to about every 10 days or so. Get rid of that dry flaky skin so they will tan better with the fresh new skin cells.
