Hai I have a very oily skin and lots of acnes and pores on my nose.
I ve got blemishes on my nose. I have just bought a VITAMIN C ABSOLUTESTM REVIVING CLEANSER from revlon and a VITAMIN C ABSOLUTESTM REFRESHING TONIC from revlon . I use the cleanser first to remove oil then I use toner to tight the pores.
Is my usage correct basically what does a cleanser and a toner do, does it help my skin type. Does it really clean pores and clear acne. I also use a tea tree gel from lotus herbals for acnes.
But after the usage of tcleanser and toner the blemishes have slightly worsen and their are many bumbs now.
Is their anything else i can use for my blemishes.
Are these products sufficient for getting a clear skin.
has anybody used these revlon products how are the results.

Not an experts here but...... I would imagine that the cleansers and toners are purifying your skin. Thus bringing out more blemishes. I think after a while you will start to see results more to your liking.

you are using them correctly but the products may or may not be the culprit. How may times a day do you use them? If you cleanse your face too much your skin will react by creating more oil causing more breakouts and irritation to the skin. If you are using them properly then they may just be too drying and irritating to your skin causing the same reaction above especially since you have oily skin. This is just my opinion as I am no expert but I have dealt with my oily skin for years. L'oreal double action toner helps absorb oil and their pure zone moisturizer helps as well. Have you been to a dermatologist? As for alot of products for acne....the first couple of weeks will make you want to stop using them but thats the impurities coming to the surface of the skin and with time you will see better results like mitzi said. HTH!

I would try using a light lotion moisturiser mixed with essential tea tree oil instead of the tea tree gel. Sometimes if toner is too harsh, it can kill all of your skins antibodies for defending itself against acne bacteria. Also, what type of acne is it? Are they just surface whiteheads? Or are they cystic and under the skin? Sometimes cystic acne can be caused by eating a diet with way too much iodine and/or not drinking enough water. You need to stay hydrated to push all of the impurites out instead of just using products to pull it out.

I had been to a dermotologist, and i had been using an anti acne cream for nearly 6months and their was no improvement. So i shifted to cleansers and toners, I use them twice a day. First i apply cleanser then i wash the cleanser with the toner and I leave the toner on for some time. i dont use cleanser on my nose as it says that it cleans by opening pores, I have lot of pores on my nose so I use toner for tightening the pores. Is my usage correct. Pls explain what are cleansers and toners really used for. After i used tree gel the acne condition is somewhat better but i find lots of blemishes and red bumb on my skin. I use pears oil clear soap with astringent.
My acne type is basically more black head type and and when i wash my face with the soap i see lots of white heads.
How should I eleminate blemishes and red bumb on my nose. Is their a way i can permanently solve this condition, the bumps on my nose looks really worst, I would appreciate if you can suggest any medication to clear the bumps.
