Rep Power: 23 | My skin has just dried up on me.... I slather on the Angel after showering and before bed but I'm usually dry and itching after an hour or so. I drink tons of water already during the day at work... I'm not on any new meds or laundry detergent... I just don't know what to do. |

Rep Power: 24 | Jill: When is the last time you did a really really good exfoliation? Use a baking soda scrub .. Take plain pure baking soda.....wet it...make a paste and rub your entire body with it.... Rinse well in your shower..... Then apply a moisturizer to the body..... I know you are drinking enough water...but this time of year brings us dry skin and all sorts of skin conditions.. Try this simple treatment and see if you dont feel smoother and more soft... C |

Rep Power: 28 | DS has always been drying to my skin. I do like the new products that I have sampled, but for the most part in the past DS isn't moisturizing for me. Try another brand for a few days. See if that helps. _________________ Mitzi Getting Ready to Rock in 2003[ This Message was edited by: Mitzi on 2003-03-24 21:00 ] |

Rep Power: 23 | I would switch to another lotion but Angel is all I have at the moment... I haven't found another one that I like as much that is not owned by you-know-who. I will try the baking soda scrub tonight before bed. Thanks for the tip. |

Rep Power: 23 | Jill, You might also want to try JA Sugar Scrub. It lathers up like a shower gel but also exfoliates. If you use the Salt Glow, that is eally moisturizing too, BUT, it is slippery so be careful in the shower. lol. Also, I use Babie as a moisturizer daily. It is great because it is anti-aging, anti-oxident, anti-cellulite, anti-aging, skin firming and toning, and it smells like baby powder. This isn't an infomercial post, but my point is that with all that stuff in it, it is great as just a moisturizer . I never know when I am going to get to tan also, so it is great to have my lotion already on. Otherwise, you might try Mela Plus, Body Emulsion, or Creme de peche. |

Rep Power: 24 | We have brought in the Babie' here at our studio.. It is a very nice double product.... It is a bit expensive but we feel it is worth it because it is a 2 in 1 product... Tanning friendly...and a moisturizer after showering........ C |

Rep Power: 23 | I used to find Designer Skin really drying, ie the couture collection, but I think the miracle collection is very moisturizing. I'd stick with the angel. Are you really dry everywhere? I find my feet, knees, bum cheeks(hee hee; it's true), back, and elbows are the driest. It helps me to add a little vaseline to these areas after applying body lotion everywhere. |

Rep Power: 23 | Another thing- I would avoid long, hot showers and too many hot baths. Apply moisturizer immediately after bathing.(I'm sure you know that, but just a reminder.) Do you eat fish? I have found that eating more salmon and tuna has really helped my skin.(I used to be a strict vegetarian but I have added fish to my diet.) |

Rep Power: 23 | christine, Babie is actually more than a "2 in 1" product and you can gear yor selling to that. It is like a "6 in 1" because it is anti-aging, anti-cellulite, anti-oxident, anti-wrinkle, skin firming and toning, and has ultrasomes. So, if someone went to a counter in the mall to buy all that separately, they would be well over $200. My friend buys and anti-wrinkle cream for her face for $56 alone! So, I tell people that they are actually getting a bargain for $55 and that is true. It could have been a higher retail but John put the price lower as an appreciation for the end user... Glad you are having success with it. Mela Plus is also a dual product...you can use it to build a base and then use it everyday after a shower as "skin food"! |

Rep Power: 0 | Do you smoke? That can dry your skin. Do you live in a dry climate? I live in the south and it's very humid, so that really helps with the skin (every little bit helps!) Yes, apply lotion when you get out of the shower. Don't totally dry off every bead of water. Instead, lightly towel off and then apply the lotion. It's better if your skin is a little damp. I found this cheap lotion at the drug store (Keri Advanced Moisture Therapy). It's good for the whole body and contains NO mineral oil (don't ever use a lotion that contains mineral oil - it's drying to the skin). Then I use Angel for hands and calves. |
