Rep Power: 0 | Anti-Aging stuff I've always wondered about this... If one starts using anti-aging products at a young age (like 18 or so) with virtually no visible age spots/wrinkles/lines, will their skin be in better shape than someone who starts using it when they are older (like 28-35)? Also, what is the best non-tanning industry anti-aging facial creme? I've heard a lot of hype about Oil of Olay Total Effects. Is it all that its cracked up to be?

I'll ask her about the age thing! Have tried the Total Effects of Oil of Olay. It was okay, but not that amazing. Anti-aging: I love the RVB products (Research Value Beauty), the brand my salon uses. And I've started using Paula's Choice products recently and like them a lot.

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Anti-Aging stuff I asked my dermatologist about this one just last week. It is a tough question. Basically, if you use those products when there are no wrinkles etc. then they really wont do anything and I wouldnt reccomend them. However, if you keep your skin healthy by eating right, staying out of the sun, moisturizing, exfoliating etc. and using products that suite your needs then your skin will be in great shape when you get older. We know a lot more about skin care then we used to know. Most of the problems that older people are dealing with like sun damage is because they didnt know it was bad for the skin. As far as products go, my mom uses Strivectin (-web site--http://strivectin.moneybackguarantee.us/ )and has had really good results. |

I've used it personally for over 3 years and as an almost 49 year old life-long tanner I can tell you that it works. I can have my tan and stay young looking too. PM me if you want to know what it is. I don't want to spam anyone. Kathe |

It's made from a Plantolin an herb that is grown in Astralia. The aborigenies have been using this herb for different skin ailments for centuries. If they use it then there has to be something to it since they have no doctors to care for there immediate needs. The herb has been clinically tested and has produced positive results for those in the study.

I always tell my clients it is easier to prevent, than to reverse. Being concerned at such a young age already puts you one step ahead of the game. Your best bet is to go with a quality, three step, skin care routine. Wash, Toner(This is essential in keeping your skin at the proper pH), and a moisturizer . Simple and sweet. Oil of Olay YUCK! Dont use that stuff |
