Hey guys...

im a faithful year round tanner, and i like to think i do everything i can to prevent any negative affects from tanning.... but mostly the only thing i do is wear my eyewear and moisturize... is there n e thing else i could do to prevent ever having anything harmful happen to my skin because of indoor tanning?

thanks guys, laura

Tropical.....
exfoliate and use a light weight body wash while tanning...
use products that are skin care designed.....meaning vitamins and anti-oxidents...
use products designed just for the face..neck and chest... for tanning......
and most of all..
Take a break on the tanning......
meaning......about every 15-18 days back off for 5 or 6 days and let the fresh cells re group......

keep moisturizing during the leave from tanning and hydrate..hydrate hydrate........drink lot and lots of water and drink Green tea, it's high in anti oxidents....... everyday 4 cups of green tea.....helps the skin......

Use SPF when going into the sun shine.. and apply every 60 minutes and directly after water activities.......

drinking the green tea Laura Hot or cold is very very good for you.
If you need to add a little sugar to sweeten it up do so..but once you aquire a taste for green tea.you will drink it every day....

Making it fresh and adding your own honey or lemon is best..
AZ makes a great Tea.but look at the sugar contained and other things that keep its shelf life...
Making it yourself takes 2 minutes..

Drink lots of water, use a good moisturizer without mineral oil.
Cover your face more when you tan to cut down on aging.
Maybe take a long break from tanning, like a month. I don't know how old you are, but your skin when thank you later.

"Maybe take a long break from tanning, like a month."

If you are tanning in moderation and following your exposure schedule this is not necessary......
We do preach taking a break and be wise about your exposure...
If you have been abusing.like the beach for a vacation ...and not being good....then a long break is important.

Laura we also have discussed having skin care treatments regularly to ensure you are "treating yourself" right..
