So, is baby lotion still good to use even by itself? I, too, love baby lotion. Would it have any effect on the tanning process if it was used earlier in the day before a session?

fungirlz 02-03-2003 07:00 PM

it depends on what the baby lotion ingrdiants are..
try to avoid mineral oils and waxy lotions when tanning. they just lay on the skin.......

Ok, I'm confused (yes, a short trip). Is it or is it not a good idea to use a product with mineral oil? I know it's never, ever good to use for tanning, but what about 7 or 8 hours before tanning? Sounds like here, several people are using Baby Lotion yet in another thread it's mentioned to not use Bath and Body Works products becuause of scents and mineral oil. I don't think that post was talking about using them for tanning, just using them, much like this discussion for Baby Lotion. So, is it recommended to use these lotions or not? Again, not for tanning but other times.
