Rep Power: 27 | I have a client who would like to try tanning, except she has leg ulcers from previous ciculatory problems. Any one had experience here? She is not taking anyn meds, apparently sometimes they are open, so she covers them with gauze. |

Rep Power: 24 | You Must tell her she can not tan or expose the ulsers to UV any open wound should not be exposed... this will cause them to not heal properly. Gauze may help them not to leak.but the UV can still penetrate the gauze.. just like using a towel over your face will not protect your eyes from the UV.. I say better safe than sorry...... No tanning while the ulser is active.. I discussed this with Corleen and Julie our other aestheticians here........and both agree NO exposure to UV while ulsers are active. C |
