I have an 18 yr old who, as a 2 yr old had Steven Johnson Syndrome. Its a germ that gets in the skin, which then burns it. Her skin actually peeled then fell off. As a first degree burn. She leaves in 10 days for the Philipines, wants to tan. Has anyone heard of this condition?

She will be fine with tanning ........
She had this as a child because of taking some sort of medication.. Maybe Bactrium, or something like it....
Tanning will not hurt her...nor will it make the syndrome repeat itself..
