"Neutrogena SkinClearing® Moisturizer treats and helps prevent breakouts and boosts skin clarity for consistently clear skin.

This breakthrough formula is the first to combine Salicylic Acid with Retinol to deliver a unique combination of acne and skincare benefits. Maximum strength Salicylic Acid, a proven acne-fighting ingredient, is recommended by dermatologists to treat and help prevent breakouts. Retinol, the purest form of Vitamin A, works deep within skin’s surface to visibly boost skin clarity and smooth skin texture. This lightweight, non-greasy formula absorbs quickly and works well alone or under makeup.

Get consistently clear, healthy-looking skin."

Christine, do you have any comments about this product?

I just bought it to try it out for a couple of weeks...

I know that it would cause photosensativity, so I'll be carefull with my face.

I would be csreful tanning your face if you are using a salicylic Acid product.. You could have contra-indications with UV and an aggressive salicylic acid..

I would suggest using an SPF made for the face at least a 15 factor..

I have read that retinol helps clear up skin.... and that the scientists really don't know the true mechanism that helps clear the skin...they have three ideas that seem valid.

1) the retinol increases cell turn-over

2) it inhibits sebum production

3) and it...um, o i forgot the third...????

Speaking of retinol, have you ever heard of the egg yolk mask???

It is a middle eastern thing....

they use the egg yolk as a mask, and let it dry for about 15 minutes...

High amounts of vitamin E and A are said to be in the egg yolk, which is supposed to be good for your skin...

has anybody heard of this???

I have done egg yolk masks several times when the skin gets an oil bulid up..
It is a wonderful mask Melty..
Besure the eggs are a little cool when making the facial mask..
Your skin will feel very very tight after you use it..

The original story is told by an Indian women, and she says to use it every night for one month, and then like twice a month after the first 30 days....

Is this alright to do???

about the kewlness... the eggie would come right from the fridge.... hehe

do you, or anybody else know the amount of vitamin A/E in the egg yolk, or does it depend...?
