why I would want to use a step 1 lotion occasionally when I'm a step 2.

Level 1 has your "jump start" properties in it.. Think of it this way.. My body is more like a plant than anything else..
It needs it's vitmins minerals and moisture and sunlight, and needs to be cut back when it has dead leaves.. correct?
Level 1 is like giving your skin a shot of Peters 20/20 .. and the level 2 is like giving it a big drink of water..Exfoliation is the cutting the dead off..
You need the level 1 to give it a boost..
Or even layer a level 1 and 2 to enhance the tanning process when youv'e reached a level and can't seem to get any more color.. do this process after you exfoliate.. watch your color increase..

Hope this helped..

Also, about every 30 days your skin sheds a layer and forms a new one [I tried to think of a better way to say that]. Therefor, you need that step 1 again to get you back in the game.

Also, it is good to switch tanning products every few months, some people will start getting less and less tan if they ALWAYS use the same product.

I had only tanned once in the past six weeks until yesterday. Tanned both yesterday and today, doing the double deckering thing. Today maxlotion & BBR.

I think it's working....I have one of my employees tanning for homecoming doing it too. Hopefully it will catch on amongst my staff, and trickle down through the clients.

Remember the "older" we get the less we shed our skin the natural way.. We need to help it along..

We do not ever suggest you use an abrasive exfoliant on the face neck or chest area..

Matt: It is so good to have you here with us in Skin Care.. Please join in more often.. you have good information and we like you being with us.
