How much does the average peel cost?
Can I ask the asthesitian or whatever name that is...hehe...for a STRONGER percent of the glycolic acid?

thanks

Melty:
Let me ask you why you are seeking a glycolic wash in the first place..
Is it because of a problem you are having with your skins texture from acne? or do you want to rid yourself of fine lines and wrinkle?

Yes, I have really small spots from previous acne, and I just wanted to get rid of them.

I know that Glycolic peels are not the only answer....
What are other ones they have?
thanks

It depends on your esthitician.. Thats what my wife does for a living she usually uses on her clients 10% glicolic up to 30% depends what the treatment is...

Glycolic is an option.. Our studio aestheticians are a bit different than a facialist.. We are paramedicals.. We can go up to 70% but that sort of treatment is for pitted skin demanding agressive resurfacing... I think you could benefit from a combination of microdermabrasion sessions and a series of glycolic treatments..
Be sure you are under the care of a licensed specialist when doing these..
You will NOT be able to tan the face when doing these sessions..
Let me hear from you..

Chris, is it true that you can tan the day after a microdermabrasion? this is what I was told when I went to give it a introductory try once. I only had the one treatment.

Yes.. but you still need to use your SPF of 15 .. if your sensitive, and feel a bit stinging after the following day.. do not tan remember when having a microdermabrasion..you are basicly creating a wound on the skin.. Protect.. Protect.. Protect..
