Rep Power: 23 | okay, that just seems like a colossal waste of lotion to me... 4 expensive lotions.... WHY WHY WHY? I think Teresa said it best... how do you get someone to use $15 worth of lotion per session? I just don't see how 4 lotions are better than 2. Correct me if I'm wrong here. I remember someone telling me that my Africa tingle wasn't working once because I had applied lotion a few hours earlier. If that cancelled THAT lotion out, why wouldn't 3 others not do the same thing? |

Rep Power: 23 | I'm not negative... I was asking a question or at least I was trying to. Why would 4 lotions be better than 2 and how would they not cancel each other out or interact? I am a logical person and I like to understand how things work. I understand double deckering. I do not understand quadruple deckering. If someone could explain to me why 4 lotions on top of each other would work, I would be the 1st one to try it. |

Rep Power: 24 | Layering products has been around for years……. Each and every day we tell our guests to layer a product with another. As far as gooping it on and having it so thick you slide all around I’d say this is not necessary……. Example…. Use a gel such as Toasted Honey and over lay it with Helix. This will help with moisture and also give you a beautiful golden colour. In the case of Melty where he has several samples he wanted to use up…..Go for it… If we sell two samples lets say a mini Climax and a Spiked Butter sample…. These two products will last the guest two or three visits. The idea is to make the skin damp/moist with the product so that the UV can do it’s thing… We all know moist hydrated skin tans better than dry flaky skin. One will not cancel out the other in a tanning lotion.. We have found that using California Tans Insurance after using a tingle will help easy the tingle feel………. But you would not be tanning with Insurance as it is a finalizer. Remember something here folks….. Many, Many of our guests purchase three and four different lotions through-out their monthly visits……. It is our job to give them the BEST tan in the shortest period of time. If layering helps them to achieve this goal then suggest it……….. I know it works………… C |

Rep Power: 28 | Like the gal I had once... She bought samples of 3 or 4 things. Poured them all in one bottle. She had one of the darkest tans I ever saw. And it looked great. Not dried out leather. So I don't think the products cancel out each other. |

Rep Power: 23 | when i do a promotional day i always give a "mix" to te owner...it strted out that when i would close the 64 oz pumps i needed somewhere to squirt the lotion...so i took one cup and one squirt came out of all of them to close the top and by the end i filled up a cup... so many people liked the mix it became like a little signature thing... usually it was comprised of Zero, Zero 4, bronzer, bronzer 4, platinum, titanium, infrared, mela plus, and sometimes formula A and S. But, i have actually seen salons all over really sell cups of their own mixes. When you are in a place where tingle rules, they will do anything to get it higher. If they feel mixing does the trick, they do it. I don't know if it really works, as that is too much trouble for me..i stick to whatever i am into at the time...but if it works in someone's head to mix rather than use one, and it gets them to buy...so be it. I would assume it does work being that all the products have different technologies and ingredients as to why they work...so, if you can get it all at once, why not? I use several products on my hair at the same time...mousse for volumizing and strightener to smooth it out...and that works... Happy Tanning I say... |
