Chris,
I am really ready to get away. I feel like all employees are turning on me and am ready to get a REAL job where I can go home at night and let someone else worry about it.( Ooh, then I would have to be on someone else's schedule and ask for time off. ...that will never work )I know I will get over it because this is not my real temperment to worry and be negative but today I am wallowing in it. My daughter asked me today if I was PMSing. I told her I wasn't , I was just a B! ERRRRGH!

The Summer Time Blues.........

I guess we just need to" tune up our tudes"
Yes....that's what is needed a "TUDE Tune UP"!!

We as women feel we need to do it ALL.. so we do it ALL..

Let's take some time for ourselves this week-end..
Soak in a tub.. file our nails.. change our hair..play with some sparkle make-up..
Rosey up our cheeks.. Eat some choclate..
Sleep an extra 1/2 hour.. Have a glass of wine..
Tell ourselves nice things about ALLL the things we have acomplished...
Let's pick ourselves up by the boot straps and give a little to US that we so freely pass around every single day to others..

We don't always have to be on top.. though it's a good place to be.. ..
Let's just have time this week-end and make it a time to be a bit selfish...
It's the right thing to do..

Liz.. have a drink for all of your buddys here in skincare..
Toast to us...and remember it's good to be us! Enjoy and wear your SPF!!

Wish I could have some time for ME this weekend but I traded some radio slots for maning the radio station booth at the pro golf tournament going on Sat & Sun. We got a table in the radio station tent, having drawings for FREE tan packages and handing out buy 1 session get 1 free coupons. The ticket that the radio ad rep gave me said $25 per day.....wow people really pay that much to watch guys chase a little ball around!!!!!!

I would loooooooooooooooove to get away but I'm teaching the little high school lovelies in summer school. I can't even complain about it because the kids and I have so much fun. Today was Feature Film Friday and we watched a movie and chowed on microwave popcorn. My students felt so cool because all of the other kids were jealous of them. They actually had to do WORK in their classes today. Don't get me wrong, it's not all play. I've been working them pretty hard because there's 10 months of material to cover in 24 days. But today was their reward for staying so focused and on-task.

as for my reward, I'm going out tonight to drink some margaritas and smooch some boys. will report back later.

had a smashing time last night. drank some drinks, wore my obnoxious shirt, danced, and smoooooooooooooooooooooched a hottie. hehehehehe when we were going home (can you say FOUR AM?!?!?!?!) he gave me his number but I **never** call guys so I gave him my number b/c that's the only way we'd hang out again.... my cousin looked at what I wrote and yelled "Wow! She must really like you! She gave you her real number!" I wanted to melt into the floor. hehe

and hottie boy called tonight! He wanted to hang out but I am tired from my 4am escapades last night. And I seem to either have caught the kitten's cold or have some kind of allergy thing going. but we arranged to go out to dinner tomorrow.

Well, I had a GREAT weekend. Time to regroup and the 4 hour drive to the river gave my husband and I a chance to talk. He said that I did not have to go back to teaching this year!!!!!!!!! That means i get to stay at the shop. Don't get me wrong I and excited BUT nervous, also. Chris, I had several drinks for everyone!!!!!! The normal 3-4 hour float took us 7-8. Out of the 8 of us no sunburn! They were all amazed that you could still get sun with an SPF on. Now back to work have a great week.
