Rep Power: 28 | Came across this little how to in Simple Life or Life Made Simple(?) magazine this afternoon. This magazine is so helpful in all kinds of stuff from beauty to decorating, to cooking. Before your toes make their debut in the sandals of the season, follow this regimen once a week for one month: 1. Soak feet in warm water and a shower gel or bath soap for 10 minutes. 2. Exfoliate calluses and rough spots with a munic stone. Or try Vaseline Spa in a Jar ($2.60 at drugstores), a new foot scrub package with sea salt and peppermint oil. 3. Rise well, apply vegetable oil to toenails and push back cuticles with a towel-wrapped finger. 4. Apply body crean to feet and paint toenails with two coats of your favorite color(make sure you wip cream off toenails before polishing). Side note: Do not store your pumice stone in the bath room where it is damp and dark. This caused germs to accumalate on the stone and could cause infections should you have a cut on your feet. It also stated to soak your pumice stone once a month in bacteria solution of warm water and bleach for 10 or so mins. and let dry completely before storing. _________________ Barkin with the Big Dog since April 2002 Mitzi [ This Message was edited by: Mitzi on 2002-07-23 16:13 ] |
