Rep Power: 8 tangirl will become famous soon enough
I had a customer come in yesterday and tell me that she just got her eyelashes tinted.

Granted, she's relatively fair with strawberry blonde hair. So, I'm pretty sure that before her eyelashes were relatively invisible.

She said that it cost her $8 to have her eyelashes tinted and that it lasts up to three months. She does so she doesn't have to wear mascara.

It actually looked pretty good.

Do you know anything about this process? What is used? How it works, etc?

I guess that this is similar to getting your hair tinted? I think that I would like that, especially in the summer. I have never heard of this, how much of a diff would there be in a brunette?

I had this done a few years back. I have medium-dark brown hair and my eyelashes are black. I didn't notice too much of a difference, though I think if I tinted them a lighter color I may have seen more, I just went with black. Apprently you can tint them many different colors...I would think this process would be best for people who have light eyelashes though, more visible.

We suggest you never try to tint your eye lashes yourself..
See a board certified professional for this service.

We use a professional tint..
you must avoid contact with the skin and eyes.. You may have irritation if application was not done correctly..
NEVER use hair dye to tint lashes..

You should be in a seated upright position when application is going on.. NOT laying down..

You can pick from a variety of colors for your tinting..
It is good to tint if you are in the sun alot and or swim.. The color lasts for a few weeks and providing you are not using harsh cleansers on the eye area( which you should never do in the first place ).. you may get about a month out of the tinting..
Prices begin about 12.00 and go up for the brows.. and about 8.00 for lashes and go up..
If you desire a deep rich color..a few applications may be necessary..

Hope this helped
