Rep Power: 27 | I think winter time is the time for me to start this. How long (ballpark) does a waxing last? Would I be down to barely getting hairy legs by next March if I start doing this in let's say October? I just don't know if I can let them grow long enough to have it done. Hubby complains |

Rep Power: 24 | depending on the texture of your hair and growth rate.. 4 weeks is about normal.. but the more you wax.. the less you have to in the long run.. Eventualy over a period of years the root will die and you are fur free.. |

Rep Power: 0 | WOW!!! How bazarre(SP) this thread reappeared. Just 2 days ago I had ny eyebrows done for the 1st time. Yes it took 30 years but I finally did it. I admit I was VERY nervous (wimp in the pain department) but it honestly was not bad. Maybe I will do the legs this winter. |

Rep Power: 0 | Okay this time was much MUCH better than last time. The young woman who did the waxing was more...well, professional I guess, and FAST. Full leg wax took 30 minutes as opposed to over twice that at the other place. She was also very thorough, making sure to go over with a magnifier (the lit kind used for facial treatments) and tweezing any strays. Yay for smooth legs! I think next time I will buck up and go for the bikini also. Has anyone here ever had underarms done? How does the discomfort compare to legs (less, more, same)? |

Rep Power: 24 | Underaarms are sensitive.. but it is real quick.. it is a bit tender at first.. but the root in the under arm area will weaken more quickly than the leg area will.. The hair is different.. not as tuff... I haven't really shaved for years ... I wax maybe twice a year now.. no more stubble.. no more hair to speak of.. Waxing is the way to go in my opinion.. Glad you found a great place to Go Tan.. it's worth it.. let me ask you did she charge you a bit more than the other place? C |

Rep Power: 0 | Waxing is definately the way to go. I've been having my legs done for a few years now. I can go about 4 weeks and then I need to get it done. Chris is right, it grows in less and less the more you do it. Eyebrow are definately much better waxing. When I think of all the years I tweezed. OWWEEE! However, they do tend to grow in quicker than the legs or underarms. Also every 3 weeks I get them tinted along with my eyelashes. Just started doing my underarms last spring. The first time was a little painful but not too bad. But it was so smooth! I loved not having to pull out that razor in the shower!! Actually, the hardest part was letting it grow out enough. |
