Shave or wax???? - Page 3

Epil Stop is horrible! I fell into the trap of buying in on TV. It smells just like a bad perm job and it burns your skin. As for waxing it rocks! Does anyone on the site offer waxing in their business? I have a waxing personal question.

Okay I am booked for full leg for tomorrow at the day spa. $75 does NOT include bikini (is that weird?).

Is it a bad idea to have a massage immediately after? I'm thinking since I'm there I might as well but maybe my skin will be really sensitive and I should wait?

75.00 is a good price especialy for a Spa.. you get excellent service.you pay for the locker room and beautiful surroundings..

The massage after..is a GREAT IDEA!!!

Okay so it wasn't bad at all. There are a few strays I am going to have to yank myself but no biggie.

That said, the place was not at all what I expected. I had only ever been into the massage section of this day spa and it was very nice. But I'm sure Christine probably would have flipped out seeing the waxing room. I, of course thinking Napa day spa when I went in, was a little surprised when I went in. It was not unsanitary by any means, it was clean, but it was very cluttered with esthetician's equipment and looked like it doubled as a room for body wraps (there was a shower in the corner). Since I only had full leg w/o bikini, and I was wearing shorts, I didn't have to strip, I just hiked my shorts way up. She did a very good job, although she didn't use any numbing spray (and I didn't request any because I had just taken a few Advil and it wasn't painful to me at all).

All in all, I would probably go back there again next time unless I found a nicer place. But the woman was very nice and did a good job. But it was no Napa day spa like I was expecting.

Also, my tan is now gone on my legs in the places she waxed. I just exfoliated the other day but apparently not well enough!

I am glad it worked out for you.. the strays????? don't shave them.. tweeze.... if there are more than a few GO BACK AND HAVE HER REMOVE THEM!!! and say thank-you after she does..
Remember 75.00 ......... is hard earned $$$.

Yeah there are just a few...random here and there. I had them all tweezed in a matter of 5 minutes.
