Rep Power: 24 | Make-up played a key role in defining the attitude of the 80s, offering ladies a way to reinvent thhemselves anytime..anyway they wished. The 80s trend is back... and there's so much drama going on with the look... Mature women go towards the deep blues and black is back..if you have some crows feet don't go too thick and heavy with the liner, keep that area soft. Lips try bordeaux satin..but don't line.. that look is gone this Summer/Spring.. Young enough to go for it??? Baby pinks, for the cheeks..glossed lips..and an emphasis on the eyes.. Demonstrative, edgier theater eyes will capture the spirit of Spring /Spring 2002.. Try BOLD BLACK liner on the lids..and white/white on the inner rim to play it up..for evening rim with turquoise.. Don't be shy with the eyes.. The eyes have it this Season.. Look Good Feel Great.. HAVE FUN.. Love, Chris |

Rep Power: 24 | Matching a liner with your colour is fine for this season.. but the two tone look is out.. Are you lining because of feathering/bleeding of your lip colour? Try the "clear liners" that are out. They prevent the feathering action and seal in tiny lines the lip area may have. Try some of the new non-slide glosses that are out also. baby pink over ruby red matte lips looks so beautiful.. Or my fav.. (because I am a red head) Orange Matte with chiffon peach shine as an overlay gloss.. Lining my inner lid top and bottom with hunter green.. Wow.........very eye opening... Try the new sable or blue mascaras for more drama or even eggplant (a purple) for the lashes in the evening.. remember these are just a "hint" of colour not a neon knock you on the floor colour. Keep us posted on what you like.. _________________ Christine' Been along time since I rock and rolled. And I'm goin to Vegas...so Let's roll................. Rep Power: 24 | Try to put your mirror down on the counter or on your lap.. look down into the mirror and do not hold the lid.. by looking down you have a nice smooth surface of the lid to apply your liner. Try using a soft pencil or a tiny angle brush with a powdered liner. To hit under the eye move closer to the mirror but position it up just a bit so you have to look up.. again you'll see a nice smooth surface to work on. Do not pull or tug on the lid.. it makes for an uneven line. Hope this helps.. Love, Chris |

Rep Power: 24 | I am not saying don't line this season...just don't use a darker liner with a pale lipstick.. make sure the liner and colour match... and try to gloss or shimmer them this season.. Big lips are still very IN.. ... and kissable.. |

Rep Power: 24 | To open up the eye use a white /white liner in the crease of the inside of the upper lash line and fan it inwards to the center.. stop the darker colour in the middle of the lash line on top and carry it to the end. Plumper lips...use the liner slightly outside the natural lip line blend..and use a lip glass over the top. Hope this helps.. |
