LOL I dont go to that "chop shop" any more. And yes I was being truthful. The owner of the salon uses it when she goes into the stand up also I told her that I wasnt feeling any tingle when I tan while using a tingle lotion and I like to feel on fire when I tan so she gave me her "special" mixture.

Why is iodine bad for your skin? I was not aware of this.

I think maybe Tamar was thinking the tanning place that was doing this would soon be out of business.

When I read your post days ago you noticed I did not want to respond at first.

I was in shock when I read it.
When I waited for a come back as to my question.. "this is just a joke..right? this is just being silly".. and found it to be real true statement I can not tell you the panic that ran through me.

Bayb... this pratice could harm people.
It is operators like this that make the general public look at indoor tanning as harmful, crazy..BAD!!!

You live in Texas correct? Texas is a regulated state. (Just like my state Florida). Owners and operators are certified..licensed..trained and supose to be PROFESSIONALS..
We continue our education each and every year to insure of clients are getting the BEST tan in a controlled enviorment that is considered "treatment specialized".. That is the LAW...

When we hear that there are "owners/operators" out there misleading individuals on information this makes us angry..
What this person suggested to you bayb could HARM YOU and others over a short period of time.
When my friend Tamar said she was laughing her head off in her post..I believe she was laughing over frustration.

Please be sure that the salon/studio you pick is a facility that is licensed and you see the staffs certifications hanging on display.
Ask questions as to why someone suggested a product and or treatment.
Iodine and babyoil mixed together WILL harm you. Reread Bronze Stars post.

This woman should be CLOSED and never be allowed to serve the public again.

It is this writters opinion she is a danger to public safty and health!
