Okay did the stand up, and it's official, it's not the beds or anything on them. I got a bit of rash on my shins and sides near my tummy, but not nearly as bad as in the bed. The salon owner seems to think it's because she has brand new bulbs (changed last week) and they are super hot and I am just used to tanning in weak beds. So I'm going to slow down my frequency a little and see if that helps.

With that said, I was expecting to HATE the stand up. But I LOVED it! I like being able to lay down but I came out of this one tanner than I've been in awhile. I won't do it often but it's a nice treat to boost color once in awhile

*goes off to spray legs and sides with Benadryl*

Thanks for your help on this topic, all, you've been swell

Okay so I took a 2 day break from tanning, went back last night and ta-da! No heat rash. So I'm going to try a one day break and see how that goes. I think maybe I was just building up too fast and my skin couldn't handle it.

Hello TaninCA..
Have you got the heat rash all squared away?

Are you still every other day tanning?

I find our skin and it's reactions so interesting..
Our body has a way of talking to us..doesn't it..

Let us hear how your tanning is going..

Chris

Yeah everything is all good now. I don't know if it was just over-exposure or what. But now I tan every other day (occassionally 2 days in a row but rarely) and I haven't had any rash since then. Thanks guys for all your help!
