i personally wouldn't do it, but it annoys me when guys say it's dumb, when as they get older people still say they look good. it is more women who get plastic surgery (and not the plastic surgery that is *needed* because of a disfiguring accident or something tragic happening) is all motivated by the media's perception of women, and how women *should* look. it is a personal choice, i think a superficial one but still THEIR choice.

I agree totally that a woman (or a man) should feel free to do whatever it takes for them to feel good about themselves (even, horror of horrors) have BoTox injections.

However, I have a "statement" and a "question" for the ladies.

1. Statement. I, like most men, believe that women get more attractive and sexually appealing as they age.

2. Question. Why don't women understand that fact of life?

The "answer" to the question, IMHO, is that women are MORE concerned about what other women think about how they look than they are with how men think they look. This "dissociation with reality" is what fuels the multi-billion dollar "beauty" industry.

For instance, any man with half a brain knows how to answer the question "does this dress make my butt look big?"! (The "answer" unless you like sleeping on the couch is NO.) However, keep in mind that IF she thinks that it makes her butt look big, it matters not whether it does or doesn't make her butt look big or whether or not the dress in question makes her look great; rather, what matters is whether or not SHE thinks that other women will think her butt looks big!

So, what's going on? Why do women INSIST on thinking like women?

PS: Ladies, remember the words of the country song - "you're not getting older, you're getting better" and the words from the popular song "why can't a woman think like a man?".

I am very happy with myself i don't "fit" the media's image of beauty but i don't give a rat's a$$ if someone doesn't like me for me (male or female) they are not deserving of my time. I am only 25 but i am not a vain person i can't say i will never be but i would hope i won't be in the future, cus i personally would never do any of the plastic surgery or inject myself with icky stuff just to become "more beautiful".

Regarding the Bo-tox! If I didn't hate needles so much I would have it done.

All women do different things to look better. It is funny how some women will perm and/or dye their hair, but say they will never have surgery or do Bo-tox to enhance the way they look.

WHATEVER!

I's a free world and what one will do in the name of BEAUTY so be it. Each person should live their own lives and not give thought to what another woman has done to herself.

I saw a client today who had her Botox injections done yesterday..
She looks really really good..
She had her smile lines done and corners of her eyes..
She looks real good..

I am thinking about a few little pricks for myself.. .......

Oh my what will Don Smith and Shelia say to this move if I go for it!!

I am "smiling" as I read your post but the problem is, I can't stop smiling. You see, I had some BoTox injections yesterday and my smiling muscles no longer work so my "smile" is "fixed" there forever. LOL
