Rep Power: 0 | If it's good to exfoliate our bodies then why not our faces, I used to use the buff puff for this but was advised against it!! face skin must also need this right, to remove the dull look and feel _________________ Sun N' Fun Ms. RedHotts [ This Message was edited by: RedHotts on 2002-04-15 05:01 ] |

Rep Power: 24 | Over exfoliation can thicken the skin.. I know it feelzzzzz so good to do it.. But you don't need it that much.. Every 10 days is plenty to remove the bulid-up and keep your skin fresh and smooth.. Using a good moisturizer each day is KEY.. But it is my opinion that too much exfoliation will cause damage in the long term.( we have seen this time and time again). Now...Your face.. Who ever told you Red Hot not to use a buff puff is very correct.. A buff puff is too harsh for our delicate tissue on the face.. Scratches the tissue.. Be very very careful how you strip the skin.. A very soft gel peel with skin support is a good exfoliation for the face.. or having a licensed (board certified) professional do your exfoliation once every 4-6 weeks on the face is really the best..After a consultation they will advise you on what method is best for you. Sometimes we think because we see it on TV or see it in a magazine.. Wow this stuff is great.. I can look like that???? But..is it a trick to get you to buy it..? Our skin is our protective covering.. Be kind to it.. and it will be kind to you.. |
