She says she is allergic to lanolin, aloe, copper, and this is why she can't use tanning lotions, I have purchase the CalTans Sunlight in the past.(last year)
She didn't want to order it and not be able to use it.
Which actually helped me out.
I put them in small cups and let other sensitve clients use them and 95 % of them purchased a bottle.
She said it broke her out. Mind you she never came in and showed me a week and 1/2 later she TOLD ME.
I just don't like people tanning DRY as I call it.
GUESS WHAT SHE'S BACK!!
I have a feeling she is just cheap..But lets assume she isn't being frugle.
What would you recommend?
MJ

BTW MAX!! Where is the Sunlight line?

MJ.
Ask her what she isn't sensitive to and lets take it from there.

Ask her about foods.. laundry soaps..is she sensitive to certain fabrics? ....
ask her what she washes her hair with.. Which body shampoo is she currently using??
Does she wear make-up? what kind?

Get some information so we can try to make her comfortable and confident in your recomendation.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

Love, Chris

Ok I will give what I know so far, here's a start..
She uses soap, and a special moisturizer from her DERM..
I will get the exact name when she comes in.
Washes her clothes in Dreft. Can't use perfumes. Really doesn't where make up that why she tans. But I will ask her what brand she does use on the rare occasion she does.
That I can understand.I rarely wear make up .. Mascara and lipstick = Done.
(I wore eyeliner for my wedding.Cause that was a special day.. )
I will get the rest of the info for you.
Love yas!!

This is a hard one MJ..
If she is willing to patch test certain products than that is what I suggest you begin to do.
When patch testing apply a small amount of the product inside the fold of the arm (at the bend. this tissue is prone to reaction quickly. Also you can patch test behind the knee (at the bend). It is easier to help calm a small reactive area. Do not have use a product on her whole body unless we are sure she will be fine with it.

If she is unwilling to try the patch tests.. well..... tell her to call Chipp.. I'm sure he can tell her what to do..
(just kidding..)...

Keep us posted..

She came in Sunday night, I Climax, Accomplish, Helix, Beach Bum Rum.
Well she called today and none of the areas broke out.
She will be in Tomorrow and wants a bottle..
I think people really don't know what they are allergic to. The times she did come in she could have been on medication of something she ate and thought it was the lotion...
Do you outgrow allergies?

The BBR spot got a little bumpy( not itchy) she said so we will avoid that one..
What is you best suggestion for her out of the remaining choices.

In my opinion not Helix. I have used it in the past and I tanned in the evening around 7:00 PM and didn't shower before bed. I broke out from it on my legs. I did not shave that day either. I would Acccomplice or have you tried A face product for her. They are designed for the face but they are for sensitive skin. Can be a little spendy but give her a deal on it if it is all she can use. Desert Viking in Portland Oregon still has a few bottles of California Tan Paradox in stock and it is designed for sensitive skin.
