SalonTouch shutting down

Does anyone have this problem? Salon Touch will be working just fine, then suddenly put a client in a room and the tmax Manager doesn't beep, and even though the screen shows them in the room with the delay time, the timer remains at 0 in the room. A few times, closing out of ST and reopening will fix it, but most of the time, we have to completely shut down the computer, and wait for the 10 minutes to reboot and bring back ST. I called them with the issue months ago, worked for awhile, now it is worse than ever! Computer is 3 1/2 years old. Any ideas?

Does time show up on computer screen but not the manger or it takes a while for it to show up? might check your setting in the setup section for your timers adjust the baud rate.

When we send a client to a room, we hear a beep at the tmax manager pro on the wall. When it doesn't beep, the client cannot start the bed, even though ST screen looks the same, showing the 4 minute delay count down, the tmax in the room says 0. I've tried unplugging and plugging back in the tmax manager pro, and closing out and restarting Salon touch, but the only thing that fixes it is rebooting the computer. Sometimes this happens several times a day. Just not sure where the problem is... What would i adjust on the baud rate? It is set at 9600

Does it send time to the manger? When it happens might check Com Manger to maker sure it is running. Does it happen to different rooms or the same room?

It happens to any room. I have had to restart the computer every time. Not sure if when it happens if the comp manager is running, or if it isn't if there is a quicker fix. Rebooting is the only way I can get the customer in when it does this, and it is a 7 minute reboot time.

Wow 7 minutes to reboot that is a long time. I can log out and reboot in a little over 90 seconds and I am running an old version of SalonTouch. How long does it take to run reports? Might be your computer.
