You most likely will not get many answers to this question but I'll tell you my first year in business I averaged in the $2000's of EFT memberships a month. Memberships take time to grow but they do grow steady. The problem will be that will so few beds you will run into capacity problems eventually which means a wait which means customers start to get angry and leave for your competition. |

Not only do you sell a membership, but you must have a variety of memberships and programs that will prevent membership cancellations. You should also have a number of other tanning packages. More importantly you must have a complete price structured with the right equipment mix and a clear understanding of how to sell your services and how your price structure works. You can't just do things. You must know why and how you do things. Opening a business should not be guess work. Based on your market evaluation your business model will produce a minimum projected income based on consistent execution. Throwing something at the wall and hoping it sticks is not a plan for success. |

If your overall price structure is not set up for the sale of memberships and your sales staff is not specifically trained and encouraged to sell memberships. You will not sell memberships. therefore the question of how many memberships do you sell will do nothing in developing or projecting how many memberships you will sell. Your personal success in selling memberships will be based on your specific business model, how well you execute it, your market demographics and salon size. |
