Hmm nose plugs, feeties, hair net, barrier cream and eyewear should not cost that much.

The lack of a washdown cycle for Pura is a deal-breaker for me. Those of you that have Pura, do you end up just having your employees wash down the whole unit each time? If so, what do they end up using to wash it down?

Excited to try the Ergoline unit in Nashville (hoping they'll have a functioning unit there and not the prototype they showed in Vegas.)

I was told by a sales rep for heartland that they will have a operational machine there for people to see. You won't be able to use but will be able to watch it in action. They are going to have some glass in the entrance to keep the spray in the booth.

I just purchased this unit but have not received it yet. As far as cost of solution the salon cost is $140. Like lotion that is not what we pay. So in short the solution is discounted based on your store discount and will be cheaper than $140

I didn't realize the Pura doesn't have a water source/rinse cycle. Darn. That's a deal breaker.

Heartland being sued over the Pura by Sunless Inc. does not help either.

Thats pure BS! They were trying to rip you off on the price of solution, you called them on it and they came up with the lotion discount BS.

Re: pura The New Standard in Spray Tanning

Two weeks ago, my husband and I tried both the Pura and the Versa. Pura was definitely better except for one fatal flaw. The Pura left the sides of my body lighter than the rest of my body. Pura is a two-position machine and the ligher sides are a major concern. Otherwise it was without question a better experience and better tan than the Versa. I didn't like the way the Versa tan came off unevenly and was a bit splotchy going on.

Just to clarify, Pura does have a rinse cycle. We were told $140 for the cost of the juice. Assured we would not pay $140 but weren't quoted an exact price.

I have confirmed with both Ergoline and Norvell that they will have functioning machines in Nashville. I've heard the Ergo machine is closer to $30K so it better be special.

Very anxious to try the Norvell booth having been loyal to their solution for years.

We are getting our Norvell on Monday. It's a great machine. If you haven't tried it you need to.

Re: pura The New Standard in Spray Tanning

I never said they said anything to me about the lotion discount. I made the comment that it is like salon cost with lotions and what you actual pay. I asked for a price and they told me the retail was $140 but my cost is much less. Trying to rip me off? Not quite. They never tried to sell it to me for $140. If they had and then later dropped the price due to my hesitation then you would have an argument about trying to rip me off. Keep in mind everyone you don't have to use their solution. I my self am not sure if i am going to. Have to wait to see how the solution works. I use swoosh 11 in my mystic now. The color is better than anything i used in the past but we will see once i get the unit
