Hydration Station Parts Anyone have a Hydration Station or contemplating buying one.....Sybaritic/New Age Beauty charges outlandish prices for replacement parts. We recently had to buy new wires for the vibrating beds (wires corroded which was quite odd), and a new vibrating motor for one of the beds. The repair tech said the wires were 230 per set and my husband was shocked they were so cheap and said that to the tech. We got the wires, installed them in the bed, check our credit card statement and the tech meant $230 per set, or $460 total. This was ridiculous. My husband took the old wire set to a electric supply in KC and they said each set should have cost no more than $25 per set. The vibrating motor cost $300 for a used motor. New ones are all over Ebay for $50, new motors. We had to get the unit repaired as we sold it to a Tanning Salon in Chicago. They have another unit and said they had to repair some parts on their other unit and experienced the same issue with the price of the parts. When you buy the unit, they tell you that parts are priced very reasonable. Check other places before buying parts from Sybaritic, or question whether you even want one of these units.
Any others have similar experiences with Sybaritic/New Age Beauty?? |
