Re: Very Cool Invention!

He will, because if you buy it & you try to saw your finger off it cost a fortune to get the unit back up & running properly. I think it's about $150 a pop to reset the unit.

I still wouldn't touch it, f-that!

Re: Very Cool Invention!

New blade, aluminum stop & high tension spring.

So I guess it depends on what a finger is worth to you?

I am scared to crap every time I use my table saw.

Re: Very Cool Invention!

I always end up doing stupid crap with saws that you shouldn't do.
They could video tape how I use power saws as a "Not what to do with Power saws" series.

I'll cut tree branches with a circular saw. Who needs a chainsaw?

Re: Very Cool Invention!

Oh for real. If it's sharp then it's used. I never once gassed up the chain saw after getting my battery operated recip. saw. I saw everything. Keep the spray lube handy and it'll cut through everything.

Can't find a frikkin replacement blade though. No wonder it was on discount ******.

Re: Very Cool Invention!

I got the serious creeps going from that, in 1976 I ran my hand through a table saw just like that, cut off half my thumb and ripped up my index finger. Had 3 operations in a year, over 180 stiches, 3 pins and a couple of skin grafts. Other than that nothing much really bad happened.
