My Dad had a 67 GTO. That was a cool car. 283, 3 speed. Todays cars can plant the power better though but there is nothing like a 3 block posi burnout. | |

Rep Power: 12 ![]() ![]() | Re: Wiring issue Brian I need your help! You can still do that with late model hot rods... just turn off the traction control and/or stability control buttons first. Warning: Do not try this with a 500+ HP Z06 Corvette or you might fishtail off the road. Egg should try that with his clunker: Floor it in neutral then put it in drive. After laying a 20 foot patch his transmission will drop out on the pavement. Then he will finally have to buy a real car or truck. Note: GTO's had 389's - then 400's in 1967. A 283 is a Chevy small block... aka 327 and 350. Big blocks were 396, 427 and 454. |

Notice that solar steve only wants me to buy a new car so his gravy train won't dry up. yep my income taxes still pay for you to be a bitter redneck in fear of the sky falling. Only a fool would trade in an auto that's paid for...or someone that skipped basic math.
