'Dirty Dancing' star Patrick Swayze at 57

LOS ANGELES – Patrick Swayze, the hunky actor who danced his way into viewers' hearts with "Dirty Dancing" and then broke them with "Ghost," died Monday after a battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 57.
"Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months," said a statement released Monday evening by his publicist, Annett Wolf. No other details were given.

^^That's what it should read. Man that sucks, I liked Patrick Swayze. RIP.

Worst cancer you can get I have seen two people die an awfull death from it. Great actor RIP..

^^ Yup, my wife's uncle just passed from this 40 days ago. Cancer took him about 8 months after he was diagnosed. It was terrible to see him the couple months leading up to his death.

Nice thought to stop all of our issues for a moment and pay tribute!

Sad that such a wonderful person had to suffer with this cancer...sometimes does not make sense.

Patrick brought us tons of joy and I personally watched some of his movies over and over.

I hope your dancing up a storm up there! Rest in Peace Patrick
