It is unfortunate that she gave up so quickly. I am a democrat but I believe the news media has been quite unfair to her. She may not be a rocket scientist but she did convince people to elect her governor of the state of alaska. Not many people accomplish this goal. I wish her well in future endeavors. She may not have a career in politics but she could become successful in other business adventures, patparadise

The media treated her no different than anyone else,that is the price of fame and fortune.She thinks she is a DIVA,but she is no more than a drama laden Wasilla hillbilly.

She threw her whole family under the bus when she accepted the nomination,without a care of how it would impact them or the possibility of all of the skeletons to come flying out of the closet.

Thats a prime example of how greed eventually destroys everything.

I said it 7 months ago that the election would end Palin and Mccains political careers.So far i was 50% right,lets just see how McCain chooses his exit.

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Gov. Sarah Palin gained fame — and to some infamy — since she embarked on a vice-presidential bid less than a year ago.

Her surprising departure from Alaska's top office is gaining her something else: questions over her motives and next big move.

She leaves office Sunday with her political future clouded by ethics probes, mounting legal bills and dwindling popularity. A new Washington Post-ABC poll puts her favorability rating at 40 percent, with 53 percent giving her an unfavorable rating.

The Republican governor also faces an array of queries about why she is quitting more than year before her term ends and what she plans to do after she steps down.

Palin has said little about any major moves, but has hinted that she has a bigger role in mind. She is scheduled to speak Aug. 8 at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in California, and has said she plans to write a book, campaign for political candidates from coast to coast and build a right-of-center coalition.

Above all, Palin plans to continue speaking her mind on the social networking site Twitter.

"Ain't gonna shut my mouth / I know there's got to be a few hundred million more like me / just trying to keep it free," Palin said in a recent Tweet, quoting the song "Rollin'," by the country duo Big & Rich.

Few hundred million what? Americans? Conservatives? Twitterers?
Considering the U.S population is only 300 million and its obvious they are not all conservatives,which explains why she did not win.As for twitterers,I think they are just getting into the 10's of millions.Is this lady really that dumb..maybe she's the one who really needs a teleprompter.
