THE WORLD COMING TO AN END?
 

Is this world, as we know it, coming to an end? Are we headed into the most severe recession and on the brink of another depression? Politics aside, whats going to turn this thing around? I don't have the answer, do you?

Scary huh! Up 220 this morning and then closing 680 down. Really makes me want to hurt people because my IRA has nose dived. I should have just taken it all out and started betting college football each weekend. At least when I use to do that I had a say in losing my money.

I took my losses and on Monday I sold every stock I owned. If I were still invested today I'd be loosing, on paper, another $150,000. The bleeding is far from over, with no reason to believe it will end soon. But, someday it will be just fine. I don't have that much time.

We are at about what year economy wise? 2003? 2002?

To think that all that "growth" could revert so fast. I have a stock loose $1.4 million since April. At this point its not worth selling even though I would still net a profit over the original investment. And if I did sell my mother would kill me. I think at this point I no longer get dividend check and instead invoices! LOL

Unity - don't worry: Obama will get you the $1.4M back. Easy as pie. But then he'll up your capital gains tax from 15% to like 35% because, of course, you must have "raped" your fellow man to get that "rich".

The "fix" would be to let ALL the bad debt fall where it may. Reposess everything not being paid for and sell it for 68 cents on the dollar. Or less if need be. Then start over from square one... and NEVER lend money to deadbeats ever again no matter what Barney and Chris and Fanny says.

The losers don't have title to the car or deed to the house. The bank does. Just hire a bunch of armed re-po men and go at it.

Also... reposess any and all DVD players, HD TV's, WII's, etc not being paid for by credit card welchers - and cut up their cards. If they think they are in "poverty" now with all those toys... just wait until they are living like Obama's brother! Now THAT is poverty.

This dammm country has to go back to basics. Save up for what you want and pay for it. If you want a mortgage save up 20% down and verify your job/income.

We were discussing repo guys at home today. We can not remember the last time we saw or heard of a repo man!
