No way McCain will win Ohio.I can tell you by living here that after Governer Tafts scandals,GWBs terrible term,the fleeing manufacturing segment and the job loss in Ohio.This state has become very stong for the Democratic party.

For the Reps sake,they better not be counting on Ohio this time around,better make sure they snag some of the bigger states to secure their votes.

"The public buzz following Barack Obama’s acceptance of the Democratic presidential nomination quickly took a backseat to news of Republican hopeful John McCain’s vice presidential pick, but the Democrat senator appears to have regained a slight edge with voters in Ohio even after the GOP convention.

The Quinnipiac University Polling Institute reported Thursday that its latest survey shows Obama with 49 percent support among those polled in Ohio to McCain’s 44 percent. The institute surveyed 1,367 likely Ohio voters from Sept. 5, the day after the GOP convention, to Tuesday.

In a similar poll conducted Aug. 17-24, the day before the Democratic convention began, the race was a virtual dead heat in Ohio with Obama carrying 44 percent support in the state to McCain’s 43 percent."

Just look at the last election,we were that close to giving it to kerry.

What about Florida. You have a LOT of ****** of dems with the Gore mess. They will come out in record numbers for sure. I think it will be close there and could be a blue state.

What a dillweed you are. You seem not to know that there has already been another election after the 2000 Florida debacle. It was called the 2004 Presidential election, and Bush beat Kerry easily in Florida.

No **** sherlock. But the Gore event is what really got things in motion. Even then Kerry/Bush was a fairly close match. But I am comparing two new candidates, not a newb versus incumbent.
