I have to vent before I kill someone!. Yesterday while at the grocery store my 7 and 5 Yr old were not minding very well and were being rowdie and the 5 yr old fell and hit her head on the floor. I heard her head hit. I picked her up held her and waited until she calmed down. I had her get a pack of peas to put on her very large goose egg on the back of her head. lowers the swelling and vegi's for dinner are pre thawed. BONUS! We shopped for about 20 minutes durin g this time I kept asking her to do things like counting, finding the "blue" box ie just to make sure she was ok. We then spend almost 15 minutes checking out. Keep in mind she has calmed down and is back to being rowdie. We went home and she forgot she was going to just "die" without some pain killer and goes swimming inour pool. During dinner 3 cops show up at my front door because someone called in a tip that I had a child that needed medical attention. They took down my plate # when I got in my car. This means they saw that she was back acting like a 5 yr old. The cops had to see her for themselves to be sure she was ok. They just shook thier heads and said they had to check out all reports. At first I was thankful that someone was looking out for the welfare of the children in our town. Then I realized they had to see that she was really ok. I really want to write a letter to the paper and chew thier butts. All my neighbor had to come outside and check out why 3 cop cars were parked at my house. I wish I could have just crawled under my porch and died!

That is total BS. Its one thing if you see someone abusing a kid in a public place and calling it in. Its another thing for them to STALK you for over half an hour around the store while you are shopping and then following you out to your car.

Heck, I am just ticked thinking about it.

No I do believe in Disciplining my kids. My idea of being rowdie is not staying with me, Talking way to loud, teasing each other. I don't mean they were climbing the walls. The 5 yr old was walking backwards sticking her tongue out at her sister. That is why she fell.

PS: 3 cops for that seems strange. they might not have told u the REAL report to be nice

No we paid for the Peas. although that is funny. No we live in a small town I think they didn't have anything better to do!

1. Kids are Kids BUT, in public they should be on VERY BEST BEHAVIOR, jerks will stretch the truth and people are shopping, not wanting to listen the "SISTERS" act "Rowdy". Sorry but I have a very limited time for shopping and sometimes that is MY down time,.

2. I get sick to death from so called parents saying their kids DO NO WRONG! Not saying this is you statement, but it happens. ALL KIDS DO WRONG AND I REALLY DID MY SHARE, AND STILL TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH THE JONESES...

I wanted to be able to live my life,so i passed on the kids,but I have seen some perfect ones.Obviously they were raised right.

How did this thread end up here. There are no such things as perfect kids. They are usually hiding the fact from you or they are scrared out of thier minds to act like normal kids.
