Re: A Vote For McCain will end the tanning industry

It looks like "King Obama" will be elected this fall and then the fun begins. We will get to "experience" four more years of a totally unqualified leader.

I hate the liberal media!

I'd love for a Republican...I mean A REAL REPUBLICAN not "bush league" republicans to get in but we are not living in reality right now and need someone that's going to make the rest of the world NOT hate the US anymore than they do now.

Re: A Vote For McCain will end the tanning industry

"Cyclical downturns occur on any and all presidents' watches. The last one starting in 2000 when QQQ bubble broke on guess who's watch: BUBBA."

Sir, someone you say is in office to PROTECT the interests of the USA has put the country in 2 RECESSIONS in 8 years, a MAJOR terrorist attack, a never ending war, and the next president will inherit the LARGEST DEFICIT EVER.

It's not that I don't think we couldn't do better than Obama and McCain it's just that your ability to make a judgment call based on very recent history is what bothers me.

The way you talk about how Obama is going to cost us in tax money when we are dealing with a 8 year republican that has all but bankrupt the entire country. If you make no money then what's the point of lower taxes.

I agree 110%,we do need someone to rebuild international relations,I believe its the only way to strengthen the U.S economy.

Obama definitely has the persona to do so,but to make any decisions regarding the welfare of this country, absolutely not.

Mccain might not be the answer, but he is a career politician.Experience accounts for something.

Barack might be qualified to run a mini-mart,but wal-mart is still way out of his league.

Sirs, DEFINE "welfare of this country"

All I read is you "republicans" BASHING your fellow man for buying a house instead of living in the streets so your taxes don't go up BUT no problem ok'n a president that puts the country into debt and selling it off to the SAUDIS and CHINA to support a war that should have never happened.

That's ok with you? $500B going to OPEC and the people that SHOULD be held responsible for 9-11.

If you people actually read what you wrote you'd notice that you want NOTHING more than to DAM America and it's people NOT support it. You want to support YOU.

Proud to be an American...just as long as you don't have to participate.

We live in a free market economy. When you wake up and realize it,you may be better off.

I never said I was proud to be an american.Im just here taking advantage of it.If your so interested in charity, then you can look out for the people that were stupid enough to bury themselves in loans they couldn't afford, give out complimentary gas card so your customers can come in to tan and discount your tanning so everyone can look great.

America, the land of oppertunity,a place where anyone can be there own boss and own their own business.Thats what made this country, thats the "WELFARE" of this country.

Re: A Vote For McCain will end the tanning industry

Ok, you don't want $500b going to opec. The fact is we get more oil from non opec countries, with Canada and Mexico topping that list. What was the solution that the dems came up with to lower fuel prices? It was to ask opec to pump more, not get off our *** and to drill and use our own oil. For the U.S. to be sitting on so much oil that we have and not to use it, is wrong.

Obama agrees with this plan, our own oil is off limits but it is ok to send money out of this country, when that money could be used here. Now here is where we get the but we are spending billions on the war bit. The money we send out of this country for one year of oil imports would have funded the war for 6 years. Who is the brain dead here?

Oddly, I agree. Drilling for oil does not have the same impact on environment as it has in the past. There is NO reason why we are not yet drilling in ANWR or off our very own coasts. Here is a great read on ANWR: Clink me!

Although the flip-side of things is that people are adjusting to gas prices by using a great deal less which has boosted mass-transit and more eco-friendly travel alternatives.

Who's brain dead? The one using a cartoon Mexican kid peeing on an Obama banner. Your anti American stance is getting ridiculous man.

"The money we send out of this country for one year of oil imports would have funded the war for 6 years."

Justifying paying for an unjust war has nothing to do with anything. By the time we are drilling and using our own oil we won't need it. Again, you are investing in TAPE RECORDERS while the rest of us have moved onto CDs and beyond.

The democrats that are saying to PUMP MORE to curb prices are doing ANYTHING to try to help when you have a president that's insane and should have been relieved of his duties 7 years ago when he divided the country with his FOR MY "D--" APPROACH AT RUNNING THINGS OR AGAINST IT speech.

But you want to continue to bully the rest of the world by hiring a guy with a grudge. Exactly what someone with no clue about reality would do!

The world twiddles their thumbs waiting for this retard's rule to come to an end and you want to keep on keep'n on.

Arguing with trailer park rejects from the south...

Yes, you are correct, I AM THE INSANE one in this case.

Re: A Vote For McCain will end the tanning industry

Drilling for oil here will more than likely saturate the market with more available oil, depending on amount and capacity for output,it may lower the overall price of a barrel of oil.

Unfortunately,it will be years before we will see the benefits from it.

It could really help boost the economy though, considering how weak the dollar has become.

There is no guarrantee that we will be paying less at the pump, but countries like Saudi Arabia,Venezuela and China are paying 45 cents,12 cents and 2.50 a gallon. They all have large oil deposits. Is it worth a shot?depends on who you ask.

My solution is..drop the federal and state gas tax temporarily. We would be better off and would see the decrease at the pump faster than we would from drilling.
