Rep Power: 68 | Let's argue politics ... I think Obama will win the presidency in November because he is the best "candidate". What do you think is going to happen? ~This is in the "Say What" forum - go ahead and use foul language if you need too! hehe~

Re: Let's argue politics ... First, I will preface my comments with I am not excited about either candidate. But Obama's short resume out weighs his coolness, swagger and hip speeches. I'll have to go with McCain strictly on national security issues. Both parties have proven to be very disappointing when it comes to budgetary responsibilities. | |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: Let's argue politics ... Terrible choices!! What we don't need in the White House is a dove. On the other hand we don't need much of the same. I'm sitting on the fence now, but will most likely vote independent and I don't even know who that candidate is. Do we really know any of the candidates? I haven't heard any of them really define the issues at hand and how they will solve them. It's all a bunch of bunk. I will vote for Jessie Ventura if he runs. Rep Power: 22 | Re: Let's argue politics ... If you vote for a candidate because of their POSITIONS on the full range of topics, such as national security, defense, capitalist values, constitutional theory, etc, you will vote for McCain. If you vote because someone is a smooth talker and can "wow" a crowd, or if you agree with Socialist and Marxist ideals, Or if you want to feel "good" about yourself for voting for a black man, as many have professed, you will vote for Obama. No exceptions. |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: Let's argue politics ... I am sure Obama will win. McCain is too screwed up in the head and the Alzheimer's is starting to show. He is NOT a war "hero" by a long shot and has NO respect for women. He has already disobeyed campaign fundraising rules. If this idiot gets in we will have a worse presidency than we do now. Obama may not be experienced, but George Washington did not have much either. He not making any broad promises because most presidents dont keep them. They make promises to get the office and thats it, both dems and repubs. He may be a "smooth" talker, but thats going to be a good thing. And if its about him being "black" then you are a racist low-life who has no right to live in this county.
