So what you are saying is that Obama is the peoples choice.

I mean if he can raise a "war-chest" of cash by NOT taking from the general election fund and NOT taking money from active lobbyists. (and I say active because I am sure some inactive lobbyist sneak in funds.)

Yet McCain needs the election fund AND lobbyist monies and still wont get close to raising the funding "needed"?

While money can sure help I believe only offsets shortcomings. In many peoples eyes Obama is a black muslim terrorist. He needs the money to offset that and help bring thing to better paying field.

eggy and megga you have taken time to bash me and everyone who thinks diff. than you. What are your solutions for Energy/oil?? I am dying to hear your insightfull thoughts.

As far as raising prices, I did, we service low income hispanics. If we raise the price too high they wont wash. Comp. dictates price, not cost. Slowly but surely we are raising prices, but these gas rates are killing all of us that own in my area. There is no true reason for gas to be this high, no major hurricanes, no terror attacks, no shortage of supply, just nervous traders making money on all of us. It is a artificial bubble it will pop. Oil same thing, it is an inflated price it will drop, and drop hard.

On thing I hate is the fact that my city is s depot for gas delivery, yet we are one of the highest in the state? Go figure.

Im going to take 5 minutes to explain.So you can better understand the condition this country is facing.

I worked for 15 years as a Quality controller in The manufacturing segment.I slowly watched more and more of our product moved to countries like China where labor costs are next to nothing.
Look at the going rate for scrap steel in America,It has nearly doubled over the last 10 years.Countries like China have been gobbling it up and they are paying a premium for it.This has made the cost of steel for us (USA) very expensive.

I have been to China,I have seen it with my own eyes.I would love to tell you everything is going to be alright,but its not.

By the time I left,the company I was working for was outsourcing 85% of their product and they had a good reason to.For example...We purchased one metal stamping from a Chinese company for 3 cents and sold it to an American company for 40 cents.Thats 1200% profit and it was just one of thousands of different parts we purchased from them.We did 50 million a year just in outsourcing.And you thought you made a good margin on your packets!

China is the worlds manufacturer and with they will become the world leader in natural resource consumption,including oil.Oil prices will only become more and more inflated since global consumption will be higher and higher every year.

India,is slowly becoming the new China and they too will have a huge thirst for crude oil,steel coal,natural gas etc etc.

Its easy to say things will get better if circumstances change,but the reality is it won't.This country is slowly becoming #2 in World ranking and when we eventually do.It will be very bad(depression)

I can honestly say you are out of touch with reality as most Americans.Its hard to see whats really going on out there from behind your desk,in your cozy salon.STOP WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO SAVE YOU AND START SAVING YOURSELF!

America is a free market economy and in the end the strong will survive and the weak will die.Ask any major manufacturer why they are outsourcing these days,its the only way they are able to survive.

Screw the President,Congress and all the other A-holes that run the country.Do what you need to do to survive.Don't rely on some politician to help you line your pockets,there only worried about lining there own.
