Re: Let's argue politics ...
YOU are the "filler" - whatever that means. You think people are "telling" you how to vote. That's borderline paranoid. Vote for a bald eagle for all we care.
The message was simply that 3rd party vote is a waste of your time because they can't/won't win. That's all. And IF you prefer democrats - a vote for 3rd party liberal takes away from Obama. IF you prefer republicans (I realize YOU and Egg don't) a vote for 3rd party conservative takes away from McCain. Simple as that. Ralph Nader, etc likely can't ruin Obama's excellent adventure. But Ross Perot definately ruined Bush 1 in 1992. Do what you want... nobody except you should care what you do. |

Re: Let's argue politics ...
Solarmeter, I agree with you but what are you doing? Let them vote for a third party if they feel that candidate is the best. Megatanman, please disregard anything Solarmeter said in the preceeding statement and vote for your 3rd party candidate.

Agreed, the only wasted vote is one that is not cast.

Re: Let's argue politics ...
"Don't bother replying that we are ALREADY failing after 8 years of GW (Eggs buddy haha). Whoever was president - especially AlGore - could not have prevented the current cyclical downturn. Housing (and now oil) bubbles did that. Both were enabled by liberals: "give the poor folks mortgages they can't afford" and "don't drill for oil anywhere an animal or fish lives". Also - "don't build refineries and nuclear plants". Total CRAP. "
I stick by my story of people with no clue claiming they have one and then POSTING CANNED REPLIES. EEEEEERRRRRRRRRR YEAH VOTE GREEN PARTY CAUSE HEE HEE IT'LL TAKE FROM OBAMA HEE HEE You mean it won't effect a BRAINWASHED DOUCHE REPUBLICAN? You are DAMMING people that like to use their minds and make choices instead of US vs THEM in a country that SCREAMS they are the greatest cause of FREEDOM. And then you got these f'n HUMPS claiming that I'm no Republican cause I don't screw my family members and use Auntie Mama's beard as my dip spitter. I'm MORE republican than all of ya. You people think that GW is a Republican and still with the NO ONE WOULD HAVE DONE A BETTER JOB. Ah huh. When GW came out and said to the world YOU ARE WITH US OR AGAINST US that's when any rational decisions came off the table. Simple wording that basically took all the power away from congress and gave it directly to Mr Bush himself. Yeah, that's a DEMOCRACY all right. That SHOULD have been the first step to IMPEACHMENT. The "nail in the coffin" should have been when he looked into the camera and told the terrorists to "BRING IT ON". Nope. It's CONGRESS' fault cause they can't get anything done. Can't IMAGINE WHY. We got a President that told them FOR OR AGAINST meaning there is no room for discussion. WHAT IS CONGRESS FOR AGAIN? What a bunch of dummies. THE ONLY REALITY THAT SHOULD HAPPEN is that we take ALL THE BABY BOOMERS and ALL THE CRYBABY BOOMERS (24 and under) and stick them on a ROCKET TO THE SUN. You can pass the time arguing about Britney Spears junk and scary names that rhyme with Obama.
