I disagree that #3 is just politics and it doesn't matter who is elected. The Dems controlled Congress (not going to change this cycle) is going to pass huge tax increases. No doubt about it, starting with killing the Bush tax cuts. The only thing stopping them is a veto. Obama won't veto anything the Dems send him.

McCain may be able to only slow down the tax increases because the Dems may have a veto proof majority afyer November.

Still, to me, a President that will try to hold down taxes is better that one that wants higher taxes as a mechanism to take money from the earners and give to the non-earners. I think I pay enough taxes already.

I disagree with #2, on next 3 SCOTUS Justices to be appointed.

The 2nd Amendment 5-4 decision is scary!

We have 4 Justices now that really don't understand that The Bill Of Rights are individual rights. That is very scary to me. (Don't take my word for it; Read the Dissenting Opinion.)

The next appointments to the SCOTUS are very important. Justices stay on the court for life.

I just do not trust Obama's judgement on picking the next 3 Justices. That, alone, is a deal breaker for me.

Your comment on #6 supports my view. There will be more 2nd Amendment cases coming soon as State unconstitutional gun control laws are challenged.

It is easy to foresee that an Obama anti-gun rights appointee to SCOTUS would reverse the Court's decision and start chopping up the Bill Of Rights and The Constitution. That is unacceptable to me.

DUDE! Read a little closer. If LIBERAL Justices are what somebody wants, then vote Obama. Who they'll get might have integrity, but they will also almost be guaranteed to be crack-pots who will be willing and eager, like Breyer, to go OUTSIDE of the Constitution to "interpret" the Constitution.

Yes, that is VERRRRRRRY Scary. That alone all by itself is reason enough to run, don't walk from Obama.

Geeze Jim, you are arguing a point separate from the premise of #3. The debatability of the principle of one party or two parties in control of separate branches of Federal Government is different than saying it is important that McCain get elected to hold off the whackos in Congress.

Right. Just like the way you blamed CLINTON for 4+ years of Bush's BOO BOOs but he's still got 6 months to go and now he's "HISTORY".
