David Archuleta and (I wish I could remember her name right now!) were by far the best vocalists at the end, but they lacked the maturity and the "sex appeal" needed to win a contest like American Idol, IMHO. Best of luck to the winner, though.

If you are then I bet Carrie Underwood would disagree with you. I don`t have the stats on her but she has won just about every award you can think of. Not to mention the Millions she is making off her records. She came out with a bang and hasn`t stopped yet. Every time she wins something she thanks American Idol. |

Her new album sold over 2 million. She won 2 Grammy's and had over 4 Grammy nominations. Now, let's talk about Kelly Clarkson she has sold over 25 million albums.. Breakaway sold over 12 million albums. Now, you want talk about successful? If it wasn't for American Idol, neither one of these artists would be where they are today or even be discovered. I can talk entertainment and numbers and everything all night if you wanted. |
