Sales are up here, both packages and lotions. It amazes me how many new faces come in, I have no idea where all these new people are coming from. I know we have quite a bit that move into the area, etc. but still wow, not complaining, lovin' it. We can't sell lotions above $65, do better with the 25-55 ones.

Wonder Woman managed the store today while I practiced with my music group for four hours. My finger tips have little feeling left in them. We recorded a tune and it sounded pretty good. I felt guilty when I got to the salon as there were people everywhere. I wish we could be half this busy during the summer months, PatParadise, (IMWW)

It's funny, we're def. getting busier but i certainly don't consider it "busy season" yet. Seems like it's gotten condensed more and more. It starts beginning of April, balance is crazy and may is just insane. We'll go from 75 or so a day in feb. to close to a 100 in march and April 175 or so (hopefully more) but May we jump to 250 +. Be nice if it were more "even" huh? Last year was first down year.....about 11% gross. Expenses keep going up. I agree concerning price increases..."sneak 'em in" over the course of the year. I won't touch single session prices but our pkg.'s...we sell 5, 10 & 15 i'll increase a few bucks @ a time here & there. Good luck all.

My back and knees are really sore. Tanning numbers are down 7-8% but money is still the same as last year. However, I almost fell over when a big distributor offered to sell us tanning lamps without the local reps mark-up. Hey you know things are tough when the big guys are offering you a deal and we are just small potatoes, good luck all PatParadise, (IMWW)

It has been strange, usually the peak occurs the third week of March but we are still seeing increasing sales and tanning numbers. Maybe vacations have been delayed. Oh well we will just have to put up with the sore knees and backs a little longer. PatParadise, (IMWW)

bronzeman how many beds do u have ? 250 is a lot. I am currently doing 100 in a 8 bed salon and dont know how I will do much more in april and may

Today was a sad day, we had to put down our dog of 14+ years Princess. She was a pure chihuahua, long hair black and white. She was only 2 pounds full grown but had a bad heart. I will really miss her. It is amazing that a dog so small could make anyone feel better about the world they live in, PatParadise, (IMWW)
