Tanning numbers are now over 100 every day and my knees are sore. The web server is down, and I will have to contact the host. I forgot just how hard work is in March and April. Pretty soon I will need new pants, PatParadise, (IMWW)

Unfortunately, some salons have a certain overhead they have to cover in their pricing to maintain a quality salon. They cannot continue to reduce their prices. Tanning use to be a lucrative business but now with all the price cuttings it is more difficult to make a profit. All those salons who feel they need to undercut need to rethink their pricing strategies.

I agree that we should up our prices, but the wife is the boss and I married Wonder Woman so I roll with her decision. Hopefully she gets tired of working for free and begins to realize that yes we can charge more money, PatPardise, (IMWW)

Send your wife away for the weekend and change prices. Tell her when she comes back it will just confuse people if you change then back. ;)

I slowly inch some prices throughout the year, $5 here, $10 there... most don't even notice. You can do it. My tanning numbers have been down, but $$$ is higher. I currently tan about 60 per day (it will go up to about mid 90's per day by end of month) with 7 beds and a Mystic.

I'd rather see less people and make more $$

Less people, more money - thats easy math!

We are now ahead of last year for this pat 30 days. If I keep this pace up I will make up for the short start by the end of March. THAT will make me VERY happy. Lotions sales are still incredibly strong though. Devoted Creations is selling faster than I can get it in!

I believe in your pricing advice but my wife does not want to budge. We are tanning close to 130 today and have signed up 45 new customers this month. Some how I just need to get my wife to relent in her pricing, PatParadise, (IMWW)

I am getting tired too many customers, back aches, shoulder aches, hey its finally tanning season. I see we are all to busy to even blog. New customers are past 50 for the month of March, and we are getting steady hits on our web site. Hope everyone else is having some fun, get a good night rest, enjoy a glass of wine, beer, or whatever, PatParadise, (IMWW)
