Rep Power: 22 | Surf Boards.... help! Hey guys, Im looking through eBay. Finding some good stuff but I thought I would ask here too. Im a looking for surf boards. I need 6 that are all about 6 feet tall and a couple bigger and a few smaller. Condition is not a huge issues, I can have them re-painted. Actually "wear & tear" would be nice, make them look more "real" to the Wisconsin folk that tan here! Anyone know of any shops that discard or sell REALLY CHEAP surfboards? These will be used for decoration, thats all. Thanks! Back to eBay!

Rep Power: 22 | Re: Surf Boards.... help! Ya, but if the boards are cheap and real ones, Im not caring too much on shipping. Heck, they would not even have to be packed probably. The fins would have to be boxed up though, thats all. Although I may not even need the fins really.... Maybe I should call up some surf shops directly.....

Rep Power: 0 | Re: Surf Boards.... help! Not to get too technical here, but.... if it's an old molded board, "YES" they need to be packed near the fins. But....if they're a newer "Fun" style board (Usually under 7ft), they probably have detachable fins. But, look up surf shops around you, or even put an ad in the local paper to buy old surfboards. If I'd have been on here last year, I could have hooked you up with 3 or 4 "decent" boards for around $75 bucks each. I just traded them in on new boards. Good luck! |

Rep Power: 22 | Re: Surf Boards.... help! Surf shops around me? All I see are fat women, cows, cheese and fat women who LOOK like cows! Im in Green Bay, no one surfs around here. Even if I found a board, thats all I would find, one. I will check out Gregs List also. Like I said, prefer real ones even if they are beat up a little. Thanks for your help!
