Gotta love these weather patterns. Yesterday we had record sales in the 45 degree temps. Everyone and their grandmother was out. Now today it started out around 41 and is headed towards NEGATIVE 7 by midnight. Of course with the rain, hail, snow, sleet this means that no one is out shopping. :( I may have to close up early if I dont want to spend the night here!

See thats the joy of living here in Quebec, we do not have any of those weather patterns, here its always minus 10 in the winter!

Well forget negative 7, it got to negative 12! Took me three hours to get my car started, needless to say we opened a bit late :(

Ok, I don't wanna hear about it. This weather sucks my left a$$. We were at 51 degress at 3 AM, by 6 AM, the winds were blowing and it's -3 outside. They have reported winds up to 81 MPH. The lake crested at 10ft. Streets are flooded downtown and they are starting to ice over. We got to the salon at 9AM morning and guess what...power is out. It's almost 3PM and the power is STILL out!!!! So much for the mucho dinero made yesterday. And the power company can't go out on those poles in this weather....so....we're patiently waiting.

I've been home sick since Saturday so I cannot complaint about the weather but today until tomorrow we are getting about 9-10 inches of snow!

Freezing rain kept me form opening today. Not that I mind, I need to catch up on a lot of work anyways. But that means less $$$. GUess tomorrow will be a very busy day at the salon. Usually is after I've been closed for a day.

Same in CHi town, 50 degrees down to minus 3 in about four hours, and this morning about a foot of snow. Where is Al Gore AKA chicken little, I wanna kick his fat A$$. Global warming my A$$, I nearly froze to death the other day (8 freeze damaged pipes in my laundromat), today had a drift of over two feet in my driveway (over the top of my snowblower). Non of my stores appear to have been plowed, at least not before another 6 inches fell, I',m going to lose at least one parking spot to a snow pile. I HATE WINTER, and i used to be an avid snowmobiler and loved it. Having your own bus.'s and two kids, put a dent in my liesure activity time. OH well guess I'll go get some Vit D, and relax before the next deep freeze or.......
