I know this is random but has anyone had a call from someone like this... "Hi, this is Colby Jackson. I just need to check something." I was like, "Okay what was your name again?" (Thinking he wanted to check his sessions or whatever.) He said, "Colby Jackson. I need to check the model number on the printer." I was like, "I'm not interested in your scam." It's weird because this happened a couple of months ago and I was actually thinking about it before work... thinking, if they call me again with that printer crap I'm going to call them out on their scam. The first time, they said, your boss ordered a printer cartridge and we need to verify the shipping address. I said, I am the boss and I buy all my stuff from Staples. I knew it was fishy because even if I weren't the boss, the owners care nothing about printer cartridges and where I buy them from. Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else and they fell for it?

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I feel like I should put up a note for my girls so they dont fall into the trap. I guess dumb girls at tanning salons are pretty good targets.

they got my employee last year.... i kept the shipment ($280 worth of refill paper) and called them to say they spoke with a child and wouldn't be receiving any payment. i made them fax me a paid off reciept for scamming a child in a family run business.

btw there was no child... scam them right back. i do have enough thermal register tape to last 3 yrs. lol

I got this the other day also! Well my day girl did, I just happen to have been at the salon to tan! I told him it sounded like a scam and that no one would order printer cartridges, this is a tanning salon, how much printing do you think we do? I asked for his contact info and boss info so I can ship him the extra tanning lotions I got that he ordered and he hung up on me.
