Obama had the best speech. He looked a little beaten but he actually had sometime to say.

Edwards had me yelling at the TV with his health care horror stories. Stop! Or, just go home.

Clinton was stunned. So were all the pollsters.

Romney's "took the silver" crap is old.

McCain had the worst speech. Get a writer, John, and use a teleprompter next time.

With all the talking heads' chatter on Clinton "finding her voice," it seems like the Republicans, as a party, have no voice.

Olberman had nothing to say but, "What's the headline?" Dolt! How about, "Polls don't elect people. People elect people."

You can sort of count half of #7,he definitely has determination for ignorance and some may argue #9 but we know his last year of service was sealed by his old man.

If everyone had the same qualifications as belve..Bush would have lost by a landslide.

I like most of your list.

Add ethics, judgement, experience, temperament, trust, courage. Hate to admit it but a high Q score is important to me. I want to like my President.

Gender is off my list. I just don't know what female I would vote for.

Military service is a plus but not a requirement.

Race is unimportant. (I'd rather have Colin Powell running instead of Obama.)

I agree,I would probabaly take Colin Powell over Obama too.Colin showed his leadership,integrity and intelligence by knowing when it was time to resign

A high IQ can make up for experience to some extent. Besides, our country is not ruled by one man. Any good leader surrounds himself/herself with quality people that make up for ones shortcomings. So while one may not have great experience in foreign affairs, one should make sure a staff member is experienced to bounce ideas off of.

As a small business owner, we may often to the same. I hate cleaning ALL the time. Not I have someone on staff that I, joking, say is borderline OCD when it comes to cleaning.

Yeah, Powell was dragged through the mud with the 9-11 nonsense. He'd never make it. Need a brother with a clean slate. I like Colon Powell too but I don't think he'd want to show his face anymore.

McCain has got some real sack on him. I kinda like his jive. Romney has the money to finish the year out though.

It definitely real interesting what's going on here.
