Re: Edwards plans big for presidency. $9.50 minimum wage, "College for Everyone," mor

Engfant, wrong again. I live in the 4th largest city in the U.S. I live in the space capital of the world, you might have heard of it, it's called NASA. I live in the oil capitol of the world. I live in the home of more Fortune 500 companies than any other city except New York city.

I live in the city that is the 3rd largest port in the nation, even though we are 50 mile inland from the coast. I live in the city that built a building that was called the 8th wonder of the modern world. I live in the city that has the largest medical complex in the world. I live in the city where the first heart transplant was performed in the U.S.

I live in the city where heads of state from all over the world come here for medical treatment. I have personally been on assignments to help protect them.

I forgot you live in a city known as Beantown.

Boy, really can't defend something that pathetic.

In my area, we have this thing called EDUCATION that BEANTOWN is #1 known for.

Also, #1 in sports.

I'll stop there cause I'm not even going to argue that MASS GENERAL, is better than some Texan medical complex.

Yeah, screw Mass general I want a good ol boy looking me over.

That's why your PRESIDENT went to school in the same TOWN I did in Massachusetts....he was a CHEERLEADER but I'm sure it was to pick up chicks...or guys but we don't discriminate in these parts.

didn't choose TEXAS for his college either. DECIDED it would be easier to just take over some redneck state than staying in New England.

No wonder why you fools like him so much. HE SCAMMED THE **** OUT OF YA! You really think he's a good ol southern gent don't ya!

He's an ENGFANT like me more than a southerner!!!!

You have ENGFANT in office!!! I never said I could be president!

Hot Stuff. You love the city and state you live in. Thats great, but there are many cities across the US and Canada that are just as good. All cities have something to brag about. That is why they ahve SO many people living there.

I Live just out side the 3rd largest city in Canada and it has one of the largest ports in Canada. But that jsut means squat!!

The things to brag about where you live.
1. living conditions.
2. cost of living.
3. crime
4. quality of living
5. natural beauty (anyone can build a building)
6. Health of the citizens (over weight or not)
7. water quality
8. economy
9. unemployment rate
10. entertainment

Those are the things I would look at if I were to be inpressed with the city or area you live in.

Here is a list from Money magazine for the top 10 big cities to live in 2007. 3 of the top 8 spots, not bad.

Does anyone see Beantown in there?

You might want to take this list into consideration as well.

It does. We got quite a few problems when we opened our city and wallets up to about 250,000 of New Orleans "finest". We took in more than every other city combined. How many did your city volunteer to take in Eileen?
