Re: crappy, crappy day

Sounds cheesy but try this.

Visualize your home as a giant magnet and its pulling your dog home...picture your dog coming home. Keep doing that.

I'm not joking cuz it has worked for me in the past with my kitty. She is deaf so when you gets out there is no calling her name to get her to come home. I had a psychic tell me to try that and I thought it was a joke, but the next time I ran into the situation and was frantic...I calmed myself down and sat quietly and tried it...sure enough it worked.

I feel for you...good luck!

P.S. if all else fails, do you have any kids in your neighborhood that you could call and offer a reward to them if they find your pooch. Like $20 or something?

it's hard to beleive it's only been two days, seemed like a lifetime that he was missing. He is my companiagn sp? he goes everywhere I go. without him i was lost. I have only had him for maybe 8 months. I rescued him from the pound. My son is so attached to him. they play everynight. I so glad he's found his way home. praise jesus... oh yeah I said it...

Re: crappy, crappy day

I had a situation a few years back that when moving into a new townhome, my friend parked the car in the garage let the dog out of the car while he moved stuff into the house he shut the garage door and locked her out. She had been only to the new house once before a few days prior to moving in.

We continued to unpack and have a few drinks etc... when someone asked, "where's maggie?" He assumed she was upstairs trying to acclimate to her new surroundings.

She made it back 7 days later howling at the neighbors window at 5 am... LOL!

Re: crappy, crappy day

it is so amazing. thank god for you. I know how sad I was thinking he was lost and hungry, where's the water. then I thought OK he's resourceful he'll figure it out. Only to find he was safe at someone's house. he is still sleeping and has not moved an inch since we got her this morning.

They clipped his nails? That's a little weird. I am super glad he came home, pets are defiantely family. I would die if my puppy went missing.
