Rep Power: 0 | does this seem unprofessional to you... i had been working @ my local tanning salon since february..and i was STILL training up until june and was kept on as a bedcleaner like a couple other girls. i never did get to work alone. and then in june after grad/prom season was over..it started getting really slow bc of summer so i went in to pick up my paycheck one day & checked the schedule to see when i was on next & the girl that was working was like.."she (meaning our boss) took bedcleaners off the schedule for the summer" so i was left hanging and wondering what i was supposed to do now. did that mean they were just done with me or i was gonna be able to work alone. i was never contacted by them ONCE after that point. i had been @ the hospital a couple weeks later when we had a staff meeting one day so i couldnt go to the meeting and ask anyone about my situation. so i emailed one of the (soon to be) managers that i work with and was friendly about it but kindof hinted like..what should i do now. will i be put on the schedule?....and she emails me back and says "right now with everyone home from school and everything our scheduale is pretty full so we aren't looking for anyone right now. if something should free up however, you'll be notified. Thanks" i was never ever contacted by a manager or my boss about anything..they just kind of brushed me off. and everything was going pretty good i thought up until that point. does this sound unprofessional at all to anyone? shouldnt i have at least been notified about anything...something!? |

I'm sorry xlovelytan this was indeed very unprofessional for them to act that way. You are better off without them. | |
