Re: Kids in the sun
Hawaiian Tropics = DEVIL
Lol. I can't even stand looking at those evil drugstore sunscreens. I put Cal Tan's SPF 15 on my daughter yesterday since she was at the pool in 100 degree heat all afternoon. No burn, just a little color. |

Re: Kids in the sun
I only use spf 15 too on the kids, if I have too. i was just sharing my kids with you, they are 5 and 10 so they wont be in the tanning beds but we have some wicked heat here so I started their sun exposure early and it really helped.

Re: Kids in the sun
I like to use AG spf8. Then the kids still get some sun, but can be out a long time without burning. I also use the solid stick of 30 on the kids' cheeks and shoulders where they get more sun. I have a pool and keep the sunscreens out there and readily available, but after a few weeks most of the kids don't even need them unless they are going to be out for a long, long time. They look beautiful and golden brown, NO Burns or peely skin!

Re: Kids in the sun
Isn't it nice to not see your kids burn, I think I was a tomatoe every year when I was growing up for the first few weeks then brown as a bear the rest of the summer. Had my mom used precaution and let us expose ourselves a little at a time I would of never burned, blistered and peeled every year of my youth. Thanks mom.
